Impact & Reunion in Europe
February and March were fruitful months for the ministry, full of strategic meetings, speaking engagements, and relational building!
Both our CEO, Katherine Gallagher, and Founder, Dennis Peacocke, attended the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship’s second global ARC Conference in London, which drew together 4,000 key leaders from around the world. It was a wonderful time to engage friends old and new and sow into numerous potential partnerships. Katherine convened with several new key groups to discuss school affiliate partnerships and distribution of our books and materials. It was also a time of deepening and strengthening relationships with some of the remarkable leaders we already collaborate with. What an invaluable experience to connect with such a large and passionate group of people united in the mission to bring about sustainable change through the application of biblical values.
While in England, Katherine was honored to be a guest on the Tammy Petersen Podcast. As the wife of renowned psychologist and author, Dr. Jordan Peterson, Tammy uses her platform to share her own insights and engage with her guests on topics from marriage and family to post-modern philosophy and health. It was a great opportunity to share in meaningful conversation and connect with a wider audience of listeners. Be sure to keep an eye out on social media for the episode’s release!
After Dennis’ return home, Katherine continued on to Brussels, the capital city of Belgium, for a GoStrategic conference at Eglise Apostolique Evangélique to kick off the launch of the French version of the GoLife and GoBusiness schools. Katherine shared alongside SCS Burkina Faso Founder, Jean Paul Bado, on the central teachings of the schools. Their visit was hosted by Pastors Abdou-Dramane and Doris Kinda, who lead the wonderful church there and share a long history with both the Bados and Marc and Doris Settler through YWAM.
Katherine was then joined by her husband, Chad, for final leg of the journey to Switzerland where they reunited with numerous friends and ministry leaders in various regions. At the YWAM Burtigny base, Katherine spoke to a group of GoBusiness students and graduates who have been facilitated by Marc Stettler. The students, active in both the civil and business realms throughout Geneva, were a pleasure to meet and provided great encouragement through their powerful stories and testimonies about their experiences in the school.
The trip closed out with a big alumni reunion event in Biel which brought together 140 GoLife and GoBusiness graduates from across Switzerland who have participated in the French or German versions of the schools. Katherine shared updates on the growth of the ministry, upgrades in the schools, and opportunities available to alumni. Bridging the gap of time and space, Dennis—back in California at this time—joined the event via Zoom, where he spoke to the group then answered questions in a Q&A session. From our meeting times together to a shared meal, the event was full of laughter and fellowship. Numerous alumni gave testimonies on their experiences in the the schools. Person after person stepped up to the mic to testify on the impact of the schools on their lives, families, and businesses, even 20 years later! Talk about long-term ROI (return on investment)! With this fresh interest and excitement, we are working towards reigniting the German version and bolstering the French version of the schools. For both the German and French speaking world, the moment is ripe for these timeless truths.
Throughout Europe, our strategic networking and connections with regional leaders has increased, and we are seeing new and reignited interest in the ministry of GoStrategic and the training and tools our schools and materials provide. We believe the time is now for impact in this continent and are excited for all the Lord is doing and will do!
French & German Translation Project:
If you’re passionate about reaching Europe, especially the French and German-speaking communities, WE NEED YOUR HELP! To update and relaunch GoStrategic’s schools in both languages will require significant funding. Your support can make a real difference!
